Team PRP Ogre X LMT Chassis Kit

Please read this entire page thoroughly! This is a precise conversion kit with a lot of details. It is recommended for hobbyists and racers that know how to build kits to high standards. This kit requires you to cut the LMT mega center shaft drive shafts part #LOS242057 to size. The "Digger trucks" center drive shafts are too short (Unless you customize and shorten your wheelbase).
The Team PRP Ogre X conversion kit for the Losi LMT is designed to convert your LMT into a pure-bred, low CG, 2S Pro Mod racing machine legal in most RCMT competitions around the country with a sub 14" wheelbase. The Ogre X chassis keeps the majority of the race winning geometry of the original S1 Ogre while adopting an all new design with advancements in chassis configuration giving it a lower center of gravity than the S1 Ogre and includes standardized LMT shock tower mounting. The shock tower mounting holes allow you to use a wide range of available LMT shock towers (outer chassis plates) to fully customize your setup. Whether its with our own Team PRP LMT shock tower options or others you'll be able to dial in your kit to your own preferences and racing classes!
The core chassis plates of the "X" can be flipped side to side or rotated front to rear as you like to position your motor at the front left, rear left, front right or rear right. This is why I call it the "X"!
The Ogre X accommodates shock lengths of 90mm to 105mm eye to eye when using our STL towers for a shock to link setup. Full length LMT 130mm eye to eye shocks can be used with the Team PRP DUO towers (sold separately) or stock Losi LMT towers for a shock to axle setup.
The "X" comes standard with shorty battery mounts: 27 x 48 x 97mm Opening.
The Ogre X is available in 4 versions:
1. Bare Bones: PRE ORDER status. Available in February. Left and Right center chassis plates with battery mount assembly, no other hardware.
2. CORE: central core chassis kit with 4-links, hardware, NO shock towers.
3. RACE: full chassis conversion kit.

REQUIRED PARTS:
• LMT Mega Truck or LMT TLR Tuned long mega drive shaft CUT DOWN TO LENGTH.
• Losi LMT donor kit. You will need to use most of the parts that came with your kit: Losi LMT rod ends, cross braces, axles, transmission, sway bars, body posts, wheels and tires, etc...
• Shocks. Accommodates shock lengths of 90mm to 105mm eye to eye when using our STL towers for a shock to link setup. Full length Digger rtr 130mm eye to eye shocks can be used with DUO towers for a shock to axle setup.
• We recommend Losi LMT TLR Tuned Shock Standoffs part # 243024
• Ogre X Core Kit requires shock towers/outer chassis plates from your LMT kit or aftermarket such as our own STL or Duo shock towers. Race kit and Full Bling kit come with shock towers.
• 2S Lipo Shorty battery packs fit standard. 27x48x97mm mounting dimensions are stock. The battery opening allows many lipo packs the space to use a lipo weight shim taped to your pack for additional lower cg weight. Full length 2S batteries will fit with the use of longer standoffs available separately. If you use longer battery strap standoffs the 3S Shorty Power Cell from Tekin or other 3s shorty packs under 27mm tall may fit as well. Our team uses Tekin 2S Power Cells, RX4 or RX8 ESC and Tekin Pro 4 HD 4300kv or Tekin Pro 4 4600kv motors.
• Limit straps of 95mm are recommended as a tuning aid and to reduce the risk of the drive shaft binding at full droop. 90mm to 105mm will work with 95 allowing for full spectrum of adjustments. Your suspension droop will need to be carefully tuned to your setup or risk drive shaft binding. This is due to the flipped transmission creating a steeper angle of the drive shaft at full droop. If you don't run limit straps you can tune droop with spacers inside of your shocks if they are too long for the location you want them mounted in.
• Accommodates 540 motors and most 550 based motors. I am personally running the Tekin Pro4 HD 4300kv 550 size motors.
BARE BONES KIT INCLUDED PARTS: This is the bare bones cheapest option for the Do-It-Yourself-er.
• Includes Reversible carbon fiber chassis plates to mount your motor front, rear, left or right.
• Includes Carbon fiber battery straps and battery mounting hardware.
BARE BONES KIT REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires all mounting hardware: m3, m2.5, screws, nuts, washers, etc.
• Requires Shock Towers from your Losi LMT, from Team PRP or aftermarket LMT towers.
• Requires upper 4-links or M4 turnbuckles capable of setting axle tilt near zero or a forward tilt (pinion angled up) when combined with your lower link choice.
• Requires lower links or trailing arms depending on the setup you go with for shock towers.
• Requires literally everything else you can think of to assemble a truck!
• This is the bare bones cheaper option for the Do-It-Yourself-er: Use the Ogre X manual for reference but you will need to figure it out! Good luck!
